Default component systems

hey, i'm new to the whole car stereo field and want to upgrade the speakers and a new head unit...the whole 9-yards. anyways, component systems is what i want to ask about...i know they're much more expensive and are supposed to sound the best, but couldnt i get the same performance (and save money) by getting reall good speakers and a really good amp and set it up that way??

Default RE: component systems

Components are speakers.....they jst dont have the tweeter mounted in the middle of the woofer. They have better designed external crossovers and give youthe ability to mess with your soundstage alot more. I think your asking about coaxials speakers. Those can still sound good. Either way you go, amping them is really the best way to go.
