Default cleaner for speaker cone

i was carpeting my box today an was using the 3M adhesive an got some of it on the subwoofers cone,any ideal how to get it off? without hurting the cone

goo gone works great on just about anything just dont leave it on the cone too long it does have abrasives in the formula... you could potentially deteriorate the integrity of the cone... just to make sure after ur done... get a damp towel and clean any of the goo gone off to make sure..

Wait though... is it a Pulp/paper cone?? If soI wouldnt use ANYTHING on it, just leave it alone, that's all you can do or it will look like crap anyways. You can't clean those things. If it's plastic or cerametallic, then go ahead with the above treatments.

O yes...........so use to never seeing paper cones at work I completely forgot.....
