Default Stock cd player and Line out converter

I've got a 2003 Dodge Ram and I'm doing a sub install this week and I have two quick questions. I've done several audio installs for myself and buddies but I'm not sure on this vehicle since I just got it how to take the stock cd player out to install the amp wires? I also decided to keep the stock cd player just because I want to keep the stock look since It looks so clean but I'm not really sure where I splice the line out convertor into the cd player so I can plug the amp wires into it since I've always used an aftermarket cd player with plugins already there? If anyone knows I would really appreciate the input. Thanks everyone.

You should really do a search of this forum. This topic, even on your style truck has been covered many many many times, even very recently. If you still can't find anything (Which shouldnt be a problem) let us know and we'll help you out as best as possible.

I've never worked on a Dodge Ram, so I don't know how much room is behind the radio, but I would imagine there is enough to tuck a LOC back there. Anyways, if you are just adding subs, splice into the rear speaker wires. If your not sure which wires are what, fade all the way back and turn it up, get out a DMM set to AC volts and see which 2 wires are getting strong flucating current.
