Ahh, ok, so you must have a DEH-P490(0)IB, P590(0)IB, or P690(0)UB right?

- Does it stop when you unplug the cable?
- Do you have an amp hooked up? (Otherwise he would have no RCA cables to ground.)
- Does it do it on all sources, or just when you select "IPOD"?
- Does it change with the volume **** or stay the same?
- Does it do it even with theengine not running?
- Make sure you didn't unhook/pull out the ground for the headunit when you took it out or re-installed it. It will still work because it's grounding through the antenna, but you will get noise.

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to paint a scenario here.

IT STILL MAKES THE NOISE WHEN THE IPOD IS UNPLUGGED AND ON ALL SOURCES. STOPS WHEN ENGINES IS OFF BUT NOISE DOESNT CHANGE WHEN VOLUME IS TURNED UP OR DOWN. AND YOU THINK THIS IS FROM THE RCA CABLES?

If you have an amp hooked up then it's possible. And when I said unplugged, I meant, if you unplug the CD-I200 from the back of the headunit, does it go away?
