Dodge 1500 Radio won't Change to CD mode
Have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab w/ Hemi..
Not my vehicle, and my radio.. butthis isthe closest i could find to my radio(mine has an EQ on the left, PTY/RND on top next to seek, scan on right on top, eject to the right of 6, and mode to the right of eject):

The radio is AM/FM/CD with the in dash 6 CD changer. I put in a friends CD, jammed out, then gave it back to her. Now the dang thing won't change back to CD! When I hit mode it just goes back and forth to AM/FM.
Troubleshooting:
I've tried holding the power button, holding the eject button, holding the mode button and pressing random buttons while all were held.(what are the chances right?? zero. btw)
Went to the dealership today and they basically told me to replace the radio.. pfft, ofcourse they would say that. But one guy did give me a good tip to undo the battery and try to reset the radio. I tried just the positive terminal and the radio didn't reset. I didn't think about doing both but will try tonight or tomorrow (raining
) Is there an internal battery somewhere that kept all of my stations?
A couple of things i've noticed:
When FM is selected and I try to hit eject, a -6 pops up for an instant and goes out.. hit it multiple times with the same result. I also hear for a brief second the cd player sounding like it's trying to move a cd but nothing happen. Perhaps a jam or something?
If it is Jammed, is this something that I can take apart myself? What's the deal with trying to reset the radio?
Thanks for the help in advance!

Ah. I don't know then. Try taking out the CD player completely (like disconnecting the wiring harness) and then putting it back in. That might re-set it if you haven't already tried that.
