Default SIRIUS INSTALL WITH AFTER MARKET HEAD UNIT

Ok I have a 2007 dodge ram qc and i want to get a after market head unit can i still use the factory sirius system.

i'd say yeah but i'm not that electrically inclined but if you can't i'd say theres probably an adapter so you can plug it into the aftermarket one

From what I have research you cannot. I just got an '08 w/UCONNECT but I don't think there are any aftermarket options for this either. I am looking for the RAM head unit that shows the Sirius channel/song/etc..., mine only shows the channel number. I have a sweet Alpine iDA-X001 w/handsfree, sirius tuner, and IPOD interface I need to get rid of as I want to continue use of my factory UCONNECT. No you cannot use the factory sirius unit with an aftermarket radio.
