Default Stereo Questions

Im looking at upgrading my stereo in my truck. I have a 2002 Ram 1500 quad cab. Ive seen the Center console boxes and like them but couldnt find any on ebay. Does anyhody know where to find them. Im looking to put a 10" jl w3 2 ohm in it. Would this be a good combination. What size amp would you reccomend. Also what size are the front and back door speakers. I'm looking at upgrading these too. What would you reccomend and im on a pretty tight budget. Thanks in advance

I don't know anything about those center console boxes, but here's the speaker info via crutchfield.com:

In-dash stereo
8-7/32" depth; Size code E

Front speakers
Dash: 3-1/2"
Front Door: 6x9"

Rear speakers
Rear Door: 6-1/2" factory speaker note

Also, even if you're on a tight budget I would highly recommend doing some sound deadening to the door panels, and the entire truck if plausible. Will make a huge difference in the sound/performance of your aftermarket speakers.

you can getthe console boxesby jlon crutchfield. just google it im sure you can find them online. however they are expensive, but you get the sub with it. i would get the jl 250/1 that would be ideal for the setup you want. i have that setup in my truck. sony mp3 player and sony 4way 6x9 in doors and WOW wat a major improvement.
