whats going on guys. before i ask, who are the main guys in here now? habeba still here? whats going on!!

anywho, i was searching for the past 1.5 hrs for a cd player. these are the specs im looking for:
-satellite radio ready (sirius)
-mp3/dvd/cd/usb/aux (usb,aux optional)
-4-5" touchscreen. dont want a flip-out or a double-din touchscreen because i dotn wanna spend all that money
-$300 or less. if you find a more expensive one, post it!
-NOT pioneer. if you guys remember from last time, i had (well, have) a pioneer avic-n2 and its complete ****. ANY brand is fine with me as long as it isnt pioneer.

I just purchased a JVC KD-AVX33 from Frys for $385 since they're being discontinued.

It has everything you're looking for except a touch screen. It also has built-in Bluetooth. Sirius will add another $110 for the tuner and req'd switchbox, and add another $50 for the iPod controller. So far, no problems and I found it quite easy to set-up. My only complaint is that the iPod control feature sucks. It would be fine if you only had a Nano or something with a few hundred songs, but I have over 12,000. Using the very rudimentary menu system makes it nearly impossible to go to a specific song. Just imagine scrolling through songs 10 at a time to get to ZZ Top. You're looking at almost 20 minutes to scroll through them all! NOT COOL!

 

yeah that thing is nice. i was contemplating a second ago about what the hell i wanted. so then i figured ill just buy a portable satellite radio for $30 and buy that innovatek cd player for my truck. i think i got it all firgured out now... thanks though!
