Remote Start install help needed
I cross posted this on the Charger forum, thought it wouldn't hurt to put it here also.
06 Charger 3.5. Installing remote start, but I can't find the purple/brown MUX wire at the ignition switch. I'm assuming they used a different color, does anyone know what position it is in on the connector? Any help appreciated.

What is the MUX wire ?
I've never heard of this term before and I do Remote starts for a living.
Is this wire part of the factory anti theft harness or the ignition harness ?
Which unit are you trying to install ?
Which Bypass are you using ?

Dutch

It is the starter 2 wire, and the accessory 1 wire, and is supposed to be part of the ignition harness. The bypass is aCHDL7-PK2 - Chrysler Doorlock Alarm Interface + RF Transponder Bypass. The starter is a scytek, astra 1000. Both the remote start, and the bypass need to connect to this wire, and, a ground wire is to be connected with a 1kohm resistor. Thanks for the help.

What reference material/schematics are you using for the vehicle ?
Maybe this will help (its not the greatest)

According to the manual that comes with the Bypass, the second starter wire is a negative polarity and its a 2nd starter & Acc.
They say that its Purple with a Brown stripe probably smaller gauge than the rest of the wires in Pin position 4.
Since its negative polarity totest, you will have to put your Multi Meter lead on 12 v and the other one to the wire while cranking to test.
According to what I see by looking at the install manual for your Bypass, theR/S manual and wiring reference material, the Bypass should do all the work.
Only connect the Bypass to this wire.

Now I'm really confused. Pin 4 has the pink/lt blue 1st starter wire in it. After your post I saw the pin location on the instruction sheet, I don't know how I missed it the first 15 times I read it. As it is hooked up right now, the remote will start it, but then shuts back off. I'll check the wires with the multimeter tomorrow, maybe I'll get lucky. I'll start with number 2, maybe they're in backwards
