Default Stereo question

i have a '00 dakota quad cab, with the facorty infinity sterio system. I have since replaced the stock sterio with a JVC HU, and i also put upgraded infinity spakers in all four doors and they sound good but not great. My question is would bypassing the stock amp help the speakers sound any better or not? and if it would could someone explain to me how to do it because i have read other posts on different types of cars but i still do not have a full understanding of how to do it.

Thanks in advance
Matt

Default RE: Stereo question

Bypassing the amp is unlikely going to help, may even be worse,if you have to turn the volume beyond about 70%,distorsion starts to develope and that makes the speakers sound bad and eventually riun them, the amp helps to minimize the need for higher pre amp volume.
You may need better speakers and/or amp.
