Hello guys. I have a '95 Dodge ram regular cab w/ the Infinity sound system, and i was wondering where the amp is located for the frong 6x9s? also how would i put aftermarket 6x9s in there? i looked earlier and there are 4 wires leading to the speakers. which wires are the positive and negative that lead to the speaker? thanks

 

chances are there is not an external amp for those speakers... the speakers are powered by the amp inside the headunit... what you need to do is check the wiring schematics to see which color code is positive and which one is negative... there should only be 2 running to the speaker also... im not sure what other 2 wires you are seeing... as far as aftermarket speakers go, you will need to remove the old ones by taking the door panel off, and cut and splice the existing harness and jsut put the new ones in...
