Default Seized woofer?

I started this thread in the Stratus forum but so far not a lot of help. Thought I'd give the correct section a try since I was just in a hurry. Driving of course my subs were hittin as they always do. I stopped to get some coffee so shut off the car etc, came back out & one of the subs had stopped hitting. I noticed this right away & decided I'll drive home & figure it out there. I still haven't found a solution... Looking at the box it is the woofer on the right side. I disconnected all the wires & reconnected them, I noticed something I had not noticed before. The negative wires go to the positive terminal & and positive goes to the negative terminal... Is this right?

depends how you wire it up. since you have two its probably wired in series(not positive if it is series or parallel) it goes positive(from the amp) to the positive of the first sub, then goes from the negative of the first sub to the positve of the second sub then goes negative to the negative on the amp. But there needs to be more info on your setup to get any real help
