My new sub-system
finally, the first audio upgrade is taking place for my car...when i get my paycheck in tomorrow i will go and buy 2 brand new 10 inch audiobahn subwoofers and 1000 watt audiobahn amp. both have the flames details on them. I will have a friend construct a box for the woofers that had the Subs on either end with a depression in the center for the amp to sit. i will get either 2 neon or lightning tubes to go on either side of theamp and get a neon light to mount above the setup in my trunk. If the box turns out as good as i think it will, it should look very sweet.

but i have one question, whats the diff between having the subs mounted with the magnet setup on the inside of the box and the outside? And, do you think 1000w will be enough to push 2 10's in a sealed box?

If i am understanding your question correctly, you are asking if it is better to have the magnet side in or out. It would be the best to have it inside the box for two reason: 1.) it would sound better and the box might explode is you mount the cone side in, 2.) the wires will just out and exposed and it better and looks cleaner to run them inside.
1000 w should be plenty but is it 1000 peak or RMS and is the RMS value of the amp is about 75% of the woofer RMS value you should be fine..... it will leave you with a headache ... lol
What Audiobahn amp model are you running? and also, do you know if the Audiobahn subs you bought were the 1008Q's or the 1006Q's? There is a difference between the 2 subs. Also, what ohm load are you running the amp on?
That should sound pretty good, a buddy of mine has 2 1508Q's in his Explorer and it hits really hard...somewhere around 155 db.
edit: oops didn't see the last post date
