ehhhh Thunderform is well..., I actually saw the box flexing when the bass hit. Gave off a very hollow resonating bass rather then a tight punch sound.
dont know about the box flexing.. its pretty damn sturdy. mine 10s give off every type of bass depending on the song, im actually really pleased. i usually went with 12s for that reason, but 10s have provided the same variety as 12s. just wanted to say that. otherwise why not just make a fiberglass box?

I've been looking at the mopar sub and that price tag keeps pushing me away. Can you please post pics of the box for the 12? I would probably put a pioneer shallow mount in there. thanks!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...spagenameZWDVW

it is a complete kit that you can use with you stock radio.

Going a cheaper route will still cost just as much by the time you buy the amplifier, enclosure, wiring, RCA converter..etc...

Ehhh thats kinda pricey to me and the power rating seem on the low side??

I have nailed my options down.
I am going with this box
http://cgi.ebay.com/02-07-Dodge-Ram-...QQcmdZViewItem

This Sub
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Kicker-CompV...2em118Q2el1247

I already have a pioneer 800 watt 2ohm stable mono amp. The airspace will be about .10 shy, but im going to pollyfill the box to compensate for the difference.

So ill be running 1 10' sub at 800 max 400rms on a 800 watt amp at 2ohms
in a sealed box. It should really hit.

$80 (box)
$82 (sub)
$20 (lineoutconverter)
$40 (amp wire kit)
$10 (pollyfill)
total = $235

Seems like a better investment. More power and better product at less cost.
thoughts? comments?

Silverbullet
That box is pretty sick looking
I like how slim it is. Is there anyway to track down the airspace for me?
It just seems like it would choke anything over 150rms 400max being that slim

Silverbullet - Does the sub hang down from there? might just be the picture, but it doesn't look like there is enough room to mount one inside there and have it facing down. Different looking box than anything I've seen so far, I like the idea and am interested. Would like more information. Do you happen to have a pic with a sub installed by any chance? THANKS!

ok ill try. if this helps in that box i had a 12'' mtx 4500 which was 225 watts. then that blew and i bought a 12" jl audio w3 which is about 600 watts. i had to build a new box bc the seat would not close all the way bc the jl's depths was longer. but it hits hard and i like it
