changing stereos
ok i know absolutely nothing a/b cars so please excuse my ignorance 
i have a base model 08 dodge charger and was given a 6 disc cd changer from a friend who has an avenger, the 6 disc cd changer is also nav. compatible, so my husband took out my current radio and installed the new one and when he tried to set the clock it said it was unavailable 
why does it say that and how can i fix it?

It may be that you are using a low speed radio with a high speed connection check with these guys...http://www.coastaletech.com/MYGIG.htm
