Default Speedo not working

Hi, My 2004, 1500 Ram, is coming up with the fault code P0501 Generic VEH Speed Sensor A
Range/Performance
As I live in Scotland UK, It is not easy to get somebody to work on them, has anybody had the same problem and how did they fix it?
Regards

This should be an easy fix first you need to locate your speed sensor to verify the wireing is ok it possibley on the top front of the rear axle an l shaped sensor with connector or for an rfe trans it will be on the left side towards the rear of the trans try to locate these and if on the rear axle 9 times out of 10 it will be the sensor when you replace it go ahead and reset the memory by a 10 second batt disconnect let me know if this dosent work or if yall need anythink else
