This is my plan for the 2009 Ram 1500 Crew Cab
I'm not a fan of the 6x9 components in the rear. they sound decent, but instead of spending the $300+ back there, upgrade the HD-62 fronts with the M6 mid-woofers.
I'd make your equipment list something like follows:
Front doors: HD-62 with M6 upgrade
Rear doors: CL-69x or CL-69sub or CL-62 component set with an adapter plate.
coaxial if you're going to add an 8" sub, sub if you're not
Amp: CDT SQA-4100 or the cadence amp. both are great choices.
Converter: AudioControl LC6I 6ch Line Output Converter with Summing or
ARC Audio SRI 2/4/6 channel line output converter
You want your front stage to outshine your rear speakers to create proper imaging. upgrading to the M6 woofer will help fill in more of your tighter midbass. the coaxial rears honestly sound about as nice as the 6x9 components and for about half the price, otherwise you could just use the 6x9 woofer for midbass of the 6.5" components set for better imaging.
both the cadence amp and CDT amp are amazing, from my listening, the CDT is a hair cleaner sounding and more efficient. But that's just opinion based. Both are amazing for the money
I've only had experience installing the ARC converter and loved it, but the AudioControl does not seem like a bad unit either.
after this it comes down to your wiring options.
