i have a 02 ram 1500 quad cab. i just ordered two alpine 12" type r's and the sub box diagram that fits under the seat wont fit my subs in the chambers. so obviously the magnet and casing is too big. does anybody have a diagram they could hook me up with? or some kind of advice?

 

Where are you wanting to put the woofers?

 

i was wanting to put them under the back seat. i used to have 2 audiobahns and they fit in the chambers of the box. but now these are too big to fit in the chambers. im also considering taking out the middle console and having someone make me a custom box from the where the middle console would be to the back seat. u got any ideas?

 

The R's are a pretty beefy sub, so ya, they're definetly not going to fit under a rear seat. It'd be pretty simple to design something to either replace or extend the cetner console that would house the speakers, and the you're free to hide the amp or amps under the rear seat.
