Default Mopar 6 disk changer install....

Last night I aquired a Mopar 6 disk changer.
Does anyone know where I can find the intstalation instuctions?
It had an owner's manual but nothing on instalation.

Although one thing I am concerned about is that the part number on the front of the manual is 82203465
and the part number listed on the mopar site is 82207483. So the changer may not work for my truck correct?

If it doesn't I'm only out $20 so I guess its not that big of deal.

I just installed this unit my 2005 QC 4X4 1500. It took me longer to gather my tools(I first tryed a nut driver then found that a screw driver would work better) and put them away than it did to replace the current system. I'm not sure if the 2500 intererior is the same, but if it is there is a screw in the little purse hanger thing on the passenger side, remove it and you will be able to remove the center part of the dash. Then you've got 4 screws that hold the unit in and a cable and antenna. That's it. Good luck.

$20? Man did you get a steal!!! I picked a brand new one up from a guy that had an '05 Ram, to put in my wife's Jeep Liberty, and paid $150 for it, which I was real pleased to pay.

its one of those, I know a guy who knows a guy who saw it fall off a truck or something.
I didn't ask any questions, and quite frankly I dont want to know.

I just picked up a used Mopar changer from Ebay and I was wondering what the # of the cable I need is?
I"m pretty sure that I have to buy some cable from Dodge to hook it up, right?

Thanks,
Gene

are you talking about the 6 disc in dash changer or the remote changer that mounts in the trunk or behind a seat?

The in dash changer does not need a cable. If you have the right stock head unit. The remote mounted changer will need a cable and you can probably get one at crutchfield (sp?) or at the dealer.
