Default I'm shallow and I got bite....boom..boom..BM mkIII subwoofer

I was over in an audio forum checking out some new product and reading reviews. Looks like JL has been beaten with thei shallow mounted subs.
This sub has been tested by a few members and everyone said it sounds phenomial for a shallow sub.
BM mkIII subwoofer HERE
You can buy direct for $225 plus shipping(their 30day intro price) DIYMA members are recieving a special deal of $175 + shipping.
They aren't available just yet, but will be real soon.( i think they are doing the promotion for their first real big order to get into the swing of things. They have provided several DIYMA members with units already for testing. i must say, this group of audio enthusiass can be harsh on critiquing sound as they are audiophile freaks.

Compare that to JL's sub found here

Although it is 1" deeper coming in at 3.5" i think i may smell JL revamping their line of slim drivers real soon as it seems that is the trend everyone would like to take, especially since us truck owners have little room to work with.

I just thought some members would be interested as most ONLY know about products that have been repeatedly marketed beyond belief..cough..cough..JL tis tru.

Jusjay, guys said they beat the TW5 hands down. i retracted it from my initial post, but feel that is a worthwhile comment. JL has limited excursion and bottoms out easily. This sub is uppose to get lower and play higher while sounding very clean and undistorted like most shallow drivers have trouble with. i have a feeling the price will go up after the intial few months of sales. i think they will do very well.
