Default Factory Speaker Issue

Hi! I have a 97 Dakota with the Infinity Sound System Setup and I ran into a snag today. I found out the factory Infinity speaker in the front door is blown. I checked with the dealer and they want almost $100 bucks for that speaker. Anyway to make a long story short, what would any of you recommend as a factory replacement? I like the way the factory speakers sounded and would like to find something comparable. I was looking at some Infinity Reference or Infinity Kappa speakers (keep it Infinity) but I'm not sure. I've heard that the factory speakers are 2 ohm and not 4 hence my confusion on what to do. As a last resort I'll eventually buy the factory speaker I just want to get insight from people more knowledgable on the matter first. Thanks in advance!

Infinity makes a good quality speaker, and I'd say go with the Kappas. The References are good speakers, but they tend to be a little bitey whereas the Kappas are better suited for full range reproduction. Other good options available in most retail stores are the Alpine R's, the higher end Elemental Design equipment is good, although you won't find it in too many shops so you might have to go online.

Edit: If you're looking to replace the tweeters too, check out the Pioneer D-Series component speakers. They're relativley inexpensive for what you're getting, and I'd put them right up there with the Alpine type R components and Infinity Kappa components
