I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for a new stereo head unit, and some speakers for my 2008 dodge avenger. Was wondering what the exact speaker sizes were and if anybody had any kinda cheap recomendations for anything to get. thanks

 

Just guessing, but they're most likely 6.5's in the front and 6.5 or 6x9 in the rear. As far as cheap, there's no such thing for new chryslers. you'll need a CANBUS harness that will run you at least $70 or so. that's just the wiring harness, not including dash kit, antenna adapter, or the cost of the components themselves. My advice, if you're changing out the equipment, and spending all that money on just the vehicle specific stuff, do it right the first time and spend a little extra money to get something that you'll actually want to keep in the car for more than a few months.
