man i installed my 2 12's, amp and headunit and only one sub was working, i took out the one that wasnt and when i pressed the cone, ha sounded like sand paper rubbing aginst each other lol....anyways well they are blaupunkt Vw 1200's , 2400 max and 1200 rms...sounded great...but they discontinued them and i cant find them anywhere...what do yall suggest i replace them with? i have an MTX tathunder 81001 amp, and only 6 5/8' of depth to work with, moneys not really a problem, and im trying to stay away from the "pancake' style of sub...any suggestions would be greatly apreciated.
