Solo Barics???
seems to me that two 8" or two 10" solo's would be a good addition, not too loud, and yet still a nice thump when I need it.... I think im gonna give them a try. when I have money ofcourse.
I just swapped out my 2-10" subs for 1-12" L7 solo baric. It hits different all together. The solo baric hits the lower end of the low frequencies better and harder than the 10"'s. But the 10"s hit a little sharper and crisper. I am thinking if there was room in my standard cab I would put 2-10"s and the 12". That would be SICK! I would imagine that if you tweaked the settings on the amps (assuming you use 1 amp for the 10"s and 1 amp for the 12") and have the 12" hit the lower end frequencies and the 10"s will crush the higher end of the lows.
The problem I have is getting the cubic feet of the L7. A sealed box is minimum .88cf and a max of 2cf. I truly don't know for sure but I have to imagine that the closer you get to the max cf the better. So I built my box to 2cf. Does anyone know if this logic is sound? There is a big difference in .88cf and 2cf. in terms of the physical size. If .88 sounds just as good as 2.cf then it's back to the drawing board for me.
Check out "http://stores.ebay.com/AudioSavings-...ics-superstore" web site or their Ebay site. They have some killer deals. I have purchased from them several times.
