alright. when i get some extra cash, and after the rims, i think im gonna go ahead and start collecting everything ill need. are you puting the pc in the dash or elsewhere?

Yea, in the dash..will be on stand-offs on the back of the monitor..the motherboard is only 5" by 7", so its not big at all.

Haha! Well, actually I am making two, but the other one is for my dad. He has a 2004 3500, so its the same bezel. I'll be wiring it all up in pigtails and wiring harnesses, and it should be cake to install it in his truck after mine.

Hah...I wish I had the time to make these for profit....it is much more fun than sitting behind a computer all day!

Okay, so I got the prototype back to test fit. Had to dremmel a couple of spots, but all in all, it seems to work great! I am going to take the assembled prototype and see how it fits in the truck now....if all goes well, I will be sending the nice, pretty, gloss black acrylic to be cut the same way. The clear shows all the defects...the gloss black is gunna look great!! I'm getting pretty excited...anxious to get this thing in the truck!!

Looks really good. Nice touch with the menu button relocation. Low level LED lights behind with a clean etching job and that panel will pop.

Can't wait to see the finished product
