when i go on crutchfield and look up the installation info it tells me the truck has no accesory power lead at the reciever and it needs that to power the new reciever.....does this mean ill be blowing another $150 on that?

You have to have it because of the CAN Bus. Without the module that comes with that harness it will create problems. Such as no engine light, pre-collision system quits working, low fuel warning stops working, low oil warning quits working, Low tire warning quits working, door chimes quit working, and the list goes on. Some vehicles it affects more then others. Some vehicles the turn signals click quits working, headlights left on warning quits working.
Get the harness and you will be glad you did. Oh, they are right, there is no accessory power for the radio. The computer turns the radio on.
