Default aftermarket cd/dvd wiring harness

I was wondering if anyone had the wiring harness needed to replace the stock stereo unit. I was checking to see if anyone had an extra or one they could sell.

You know you will need a special and costly harness for that right?

Yes, that is why I am asking if anyone has an extra or one they no longer use so I can try to get it for way cheaper. I can get it on ebay for 75.00 just trying my luck here.

I am going through the same issue right now and my question is this. I have seen other wiring adapters that are just simple ones for about 10 bucks that say they are for a 2007 ram but they don't have the computer board attached for the CAN BUS or whatever. What exactly does that thing do? I have heard that if you don't have it you could fry your computer in your truck and then I have heard that it is so you can retain your accessory power or whatever keeps the radio and such on until you open your door. I would gladly give that option up to not spend 75 plus on a wiring harness.
