Default 03/05 Factory Sirius Install

I'm trying to set up a factory-style Sirius installation in my two Rams, using something along the lines of the OEM kits ("OEM DODGE RAM SIRIUS SATELLITE RECEIVERS" and "SIRIUS SATELLITE INSTALLATION KITS") sold on this site: http://www.jimsautoparts.com/mopar_p...lectronics.htm

but there's a tiny disclaimer at the bottom that says:

*(03-05 rams require RBV factory radio or RB1 Navigation radio; can only be used with factory radios only; cannot be used with cargo mounted CD changers)
I believe my '05 has the RBV radio, but my '03 has an RBU radio. I was hoping someone here could give me some more information about this. Is there no way to hook up a "hidden" behind the glovebox Sirius to the 03, without replacing the whole radio? A few other places sell those exact same installation kits, but don't mention the RBV restriction.

Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Possible it won't work with the '03 radio. Sat. radio wasn't a factory option that year so there is no input into the radio for it and not sure if the tuner will work. You need to have the 10 pin port on the rear of the radio for the Sat.radio feed input.
