I wish I had gone with you Weed. I'm not happy with some of the small imperfections on the dash and also with the 3M tape they wrapped it with. I can see the cuts in the tape all around the curves for the holes, especially the cubby hole...will probably use a permenent marker to blend it in.

I don't want to name the place and smear them publically but you probably know who they are....

That sounds like a great idea mounting it separate from the bezel but its just how this shop did this so I kinda went along with it. I'm trying to wrap my head around the hurricane strap idea right now. I'm familiar with the ones they use for putting houses together. I imagine its about finding the right size and place to bolt the straps.

I've just looked at your work and video's. It looks like you do a fantastic job and the painting is top notch looking (a lot better than 3M tape like mine was done). I really missed out.

I did cut the top of the radio cavity but only about half of it from the back to the middle leaving the O shape intact. Do you remove the top completely leaving a U shape for the cavity? I was thinking this cavity was somewhat structural and somewhat reinforcing the dash from caving in.

PM me the sellers name/info just so I dont assume. I ask that because there are a few guys who have bought from the other person and Im really trying to understand why when they require you to send then your bezel versus my supplying one of mine which means less down time for the buyer and the ability to go back to stock later if needed.

I also use a 3M DiNOC wrap as it is good stuff but again one different between me and the other guys is that I take apart the bezel from the dash and wrap it on the back side also where they do not separate it and cut and tuck the skin.

PLEASE send me some better pics so I can see better and help you more.
