Default Sub boxes

I have a 07 quad cab and I'm wondering what you guys/gals are doing for sub boxes. I'd like to keep it under the rear seat on the driver's side. What's available out there and what do you recommend?

Thanks

There are a couple different companies out there that make boxes for the QC's but most everyone I know of recommends the fox box.

JL audio has what they call a steathbox...its their 10inch that fits in the passenger side i believe. (could be the drivers side BUT NOT BOTH) It is a direct fit tho, flush, perfect fitting...if you want easy install with quality sound then this would be your way

However! If you have money to spend and want to go the next step further. You could do like I am doing and going with a custom fiberglass box. I am getting good deals on the equipment, and i'm going tho. I'm doing 2 ported shallow mount 12s in either side with amps in the middle...you dont have to go quite as heavy, you can still do a fiberglass box on the drivers side. Nice thing about them is they are very tough, and you can do whatever you want with them...It might get a little pricey depending on where you go and how you do it.

That actually looks pretty cool, wonder what the price on it would be, looks like it may be pricey.

*Edit* Just tried to order one to see the price, looks to be $600 USD.

Looks like Fox box is still the way to go

I am making my own custom fiberglass box.
Just waiting to hear if i will be getting a second 10" sub for free, or if i am just making the one side under the rear seat passenger side.
The way i PLAN on doing it... is useing a 3/16" sheet of plastic that i will use a heat gun on to make almost rubberie and mold in to the buckets. Then fill with hot sand that will be around 350 degrees, to keep the form untill it is totaly cool.
Box out the top and then fiberglass right inside the plastic mold and up on too the outter walls of the box.
A few screws and some silicone to hold the fiberglass and wooden box together and i think i will have my box... This also gives me a mold for my buddies truck

But if you hadent noticed the capital leters in the word plan.. well i donno if the plastic mold will work. If not, a layer of heavy poly will do the trick
