Default are my subs blown?

okay so heres the deal.
a couple months back i bought a set of used 10'' kenwood shallows.. they worked great the first 2 days.. then eventually something went wrong blew a fuse. after that they started getting super muffled and eventually i just took em out..
i wanna know of their blown or if it was the amp.. the only problem is i sold my amp

what should i do? i tryed the 9 volt thing where i connect the 2 positives to eachother and nothing happened..

when i push down on the cone its fine untill the very bottom its a little scratchy

Test them with a multimeter with a ohm setting if they are 4 ohms the m/m will say a small amount above 4 ohms if they are below they are done

stick your nose by the magnet. if it smells burnt, it is no good. another easy way to test is to take a battery and connect the positive and negative terminals to the batter. The cone should move freely when the conections are made. Also, when you push on the cone, stick your ear next to it. If you hear a grinding sound, the speaker is bad.
