Does anyone know if you can change the start up screen on a Nav radio? A friend is going to give me the Nav radio from his 2006 Jeep Grand cherokee to put in my 2006 ram and when the radio first comes on the Jeep emblem comes up on the screen. I was just wondering if it could be programmed to show the ram head emblem instead.

 

I got mine from a T&C. The first time it started the Chrysler wings came up. Now when it starts the Dodge logo appears in my Ram

 

Thanks that helps but I read somewhere else on the forum that the radio won't work in my truck since I don't have the inifinity system. Ever hear anything about that?

 

i dont have the infinity either. mine is the RB1 its a 10-15 min install. Yours being an 06 is different. give it a shot.
