Default please help me! new hd radio head unit

i bought a new sony hd radio for the ram.i took the stock one out then wired up the new radio harness to the new stock harness part and also used a new antenna adapter.after getting the thing in it turned on fine, the cd works mint, the usb and aux work and all my speakers work but the radio only picks up 2 stations total and they sound great. why wont it pick up all the regular radio stations as well as the hd ones? i double checked the ant and its working mint.is there some kind of ant wire i was supposed to use? please help!

you gotta have the regular antenna plugged in too. HD only picks up a few channels. your regular antenna picks up the rest

Sounds like you got a setting mixed up in the HU some-wheres, check out the manual there should be something you missed. I swapped in an HD radio into my caddy nothing special and picked up everything.
