My 99 R/T's mostly original but I do have an Alpine CD head unit 60x4 watt with Alpine 3-way 6x9's. When I get the money it will be all Alpine. Maybe a small sub. Performance is first and with a Neon every pound counts.

Just bought a new Alpine deck last weekend to go with my system. I have Rockford's in the doors, my 300 watt Kenwood amppushes 2-10" OZ Audio subs in a custom made (by me) enclosure. But this winter I'll be designing a new enclosure.

oh oh oh oh oh car stereo thread!!

i just started building the system in my car. alpine CDA 9815 head unit, polk db 6x9s in the deck and db components (mini sub and tweeter) in each front door. all pushed by the deck's great low distortion internal amp (im in love with the new alpine decks) and eventually im getting an MRD M500 sub amp in the trunk to push an Xtant or JL Audio 12" sub. *drool*

unfortunately i dont have to worry about the performance of my intrepid because the stock auto tranny that they put with the 2.7L couldntdrive its way out of a good mood lol i need to retro a 5 speed to it.

maybe ill start a second post and detail the system im currently planning out for my Fodge project (read the off topic forum!) that system should be ubersweet

I fell in love with my Alpine CDA-7863 when I first seen it at Circuit City, but it was way expensive so I waited until it was a year old and the new units came out. Then they took $100 off of it so I bought it. Columbus Car Audio was still wanting $550 for it. I bought it for my Neon before I got the Neon. Talk about planning ahead LOL.
