WTF is wrong with Audiobahn??? I know Visonik sucks, but they get the job done and sound awesome for less than $300 I'm just growing out of the need for rediculous amounts of bass...

 

I have a Sony CDX-F7715X headunit, wireless remote, factory steering wheel controls modified to work with the Sony, Sony CDX757 10-disc changer, Planet Audio components in the front and rear doors, Kicker KX700.5 amp w/ wired remote bass control, and a 10" L7 Solobaric in a Kicker truck box. I work for a Sony distributor so I am around this stuff all day long. I design the stereo systems for many of the boat manufacturers in North America. Example: Malibu ski boats. I see you are running (4) 12's. What brand did you say they were?? 650 watts isn't a whole lot to split up on 4 different subs. You might think about another amp.

 

I have an Eclipse CD8443 radio with Boston Acoustic Z6 components and imaging tweeters in the dash. The speakers are running off of an Audison LRX4300. I have a pair of JL Audio 10W3s in the trunk running off of an Audison LRX1400. I also have a Focal 27KX 11" sub sitting in my closet, waiting for spring. Everything is wired with monster...for now. Come spring, it will be JL wires.

I have the optimum factory infinity premium sound system that cost the original owner $500. Imagine what that much could have bought?
Just got the thing and trying to get what I need rather than what I want. Just enough sound to sound good. Problem is I have other toys that have precedence on cash availability.

I really don't understand the value of kilowattage systems in such a small cab... but each to their own tastes.
I have no where what some of youse people have in my ragtop Vette and its loud enough to be heard over the sidepipes, not just over but can mask them.
So I have to ask....do you still have your hearing

Umm... audiobahn is the laughing stock of car audio bud. Poorly built/manufactured, sound like complete ****, overrated in all areas.

No, actually they don't.

I've only worked at CC for about 6months...and I've hated audiobahn for over 3.5 years.

Their product is horrible, and as stated...Poorly built/manufactured, sound like complete ****, and overrated in all areas.

There are plenty of other brands that are "good for the money"...all of which are completely superior to audiobahn in every way.

i have 4 solo baric 12's in the back of my 02 qc ram gutted the back seat and built 4 ported boxes at 3.5cf takes up the whole back seat[&:] boxes are tuned to 38hz on a 40hz burp on the tl (termlab) i did a 155.6 last week. I have a 9831 alpine for a head unit and kicker speakers in the doors as well i will post some pics on a new thread when i get home from work was wondering if anyone else has used a ram for spl comp. In a bout 3-4 weeks i will be doing 4 15' solo baric's. debating on the walk through cab though so i can get my back seats back lol but i love my 2 seater 5 dry cells and a 3 farad cap all on 0 gauge wire WOOOT. And yes i shattered my back window(the middle one) a couple of times.ROFL
