Default Wanting to switch factory radios

I currently have the factory RDS 6 disk changer in my 2008 Ram. I'm wanting to switch it out for the single disk cd player with a aux input, I really don't have many cd's. I do have a few questions though. Will my steering wheel controls still work with the new radio and can I move my Sirius subscription over to it? Also, where can I find a reasonably priced one? Dodge wants almost $500 for one.

go aftermarket and you can get a nice in dash unit for well under 500 with ipod aux input....best buy runs deals for cd players and usually will install for cheap if your not into diy....

I'm in the same boat as you.

Kind of a **** off that the fancy, 6 cd, infinity system doesn't even have an aux input.

There's a kit out there for the 6 CD changer that gives you an aux input. There's a thread about it on here somewhere

My vote is to go after market as well and get more flexibility, options and better sounds.

my thoughts too!! but while in Wal-Mart other day I noticed a v3 headunit with 3 inch screen for only 150. so that got me inspired to find a system with all the goodies for semi cheapish price. frys.com I believe has a flip out 7 inch touch screen with usb and aux plug in for almost 200.
