Ok, if im not mistaken that amp is only 2 ohm stable, right? If so you would want to run the single voice coil subs at 4ohms each parallel to a 2 ohm load. Out of those I would choose the perfect as it is a very nice sounding sub. Thats a nice price as well.

The kappa perfect is available as either a single voice coil 4 ohm or a dual voice coil 4 ohm configuration. The latter could be wired parallel to 2 ohms or in a series to 8 ohms.

i dont know a damn thing about subs and ohms and any of this crap...i knew that the system boomed in my buddys car, and it was free. i have 2 MTX 12s and a MTX amp that he said produces 3000w...or 2800..somewhere along those lines..with my box, he contacted MTX and told them what he was working with, and they told him the exact specs of everything ..the size of the ports and all....but he had to put something on the inside of the ports because something was happening and ruining the subs...but i have no clue what.

all 3 of those subs are dual voice coil, so any of them would be wired parallel at 2 ohms. that amp no problem handling that.

Your planning on running two though, right? That would mean a 1 or a 4 ohm load which is not optimal for that amp.

i would wire it up like this:

the amp does 657w RMS x 1 at 2 ohms

if I'm running 2 at 2 ohms it would be:
329w RMS x 2 at 2 ohms

the 12.1d is 350w RMS
the 1232w and 120.3dvc are 300w RMS

Is this your amp? If so than I think you are misunderstanding the terminals on the amp. This is a 1 channel amp, but the outputs are bridged internally. If you wired two 2 ohm loads to this amp, it would show the amp a 1 ohm load that would eventually kill it or it would keep going into protect. If that is not your amp and you do indeed have a two channel, Im sorry for the argument.

yeah that is the right amp. it is a mono amp, and I'm not bridging it. i would be running 2 speakers each at 2 ohms off of each set of terminals.

Question: How do I bridge my subwoofer amplifier?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Answer: This is a single channel mono amplifier. Mono amplifiers cannot be bridged. We provide two speaker terminals for ease of connecting two speakers. By connecting two 4 ohm speakers to your amplifier in parallel, you will lower the impedance and therefore increase the power output.

i would be hooking up a speaker to each set of terminals. each speaker would independently be wired in parallel.

my example is wrong, I'm not cutting the 657 into 2 channels, I'm making it send 1/2 to each speaker
