Heres my last attempt (see embedded picture). Both of those setups would be good, but i would have to reccomend the two perfects for that extra punch.

Finally, you understand. You can go with two Kappa Perfect 12.1s, which are the exact same speaker just single 4 ohm. Then the amp would see 2 ohms and you would have yourself a reliable and very good sounding system. Let me know if you have any other questions.

OK so if i do the kappa perfect that are single voice coil and wire them up how i had in mind it would recognize it as 2 ohms instead of 4 ohms. so it would be doing 329 at 2 ohms to each speaker.

my system would be 2 single voice coil infinity kappa perfect 12.1 running at 2 ohms 329w per speaker on infinity reference 610a amplifier.

OK i see. it wont hurt the subs running at 2 ohms, even though they are rated for 4 ohms.

the amp does 456 x 1 at 4 ohms
the amp does 657 x 1 at 2 ohms

thanks for the help i really appreciate it

no it absolutely will not hurt the subs- there are people running 8 8ohm subs for a 1 ohm load, its perfectly fine.

I'm looking at $682.56 for 2 infinity kappa perfect 12.1 subs with the infinity reference 610a, and a box. including shipping and handling, and installation...ill do that myself. i got an amp wiring kit. just need that installed, and the intrepid is a motherf*cker to find a spot in the firewall to go through. we tried passenger side, and ended up in the sub frame.
