So I recently bought an RER MyGig unit to upgrade into my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got the lockpick to allow me this upgrade from the REC Navigation Unit. I installed it, without really any problems (the lockpick makes everything plug-n-play), so no wiring changes were done. Anyway, when I first start it up, everything works, AM/FM/SAT/CD/DVD/NAV, no problems. I am having two problems though. First, I go to set the clock, both by setting the GPS Time and the User Time, and when I press the soft key to save, it just goes right back to saying 12:00. It WILL NOT change!!! My other problem is that when I try to load the phonebook within the nav, it just stops responding. Is this a software issue or does anyone think the unit is actually broken. I bought it preowned and the seller swears it worked perfectly before. Can anyone help me?
