Default Broke auxiliary input

So today I grabbed my auxiliary chord so I wouldn't have to find it once I was on the road, backed out turned and sure enough I heard a loud click! I thought it was just my chord and oh well I'm out ten bucks... Sure enough it's my auxiliary input!

So would it be possible to replace? Or will I have to get a whole new dock? Could somebody with little experience be able to fix it?

Also side note, I bought my truck used and every time I turn my tuck off in aux mode and turn it back on, my dock acts as if it was just possessed by a ghost and goes through all the numbers... I'm figuring it was shorted, but is there anything I could do? Or is this a shop kinda deal?

I'm driving a ram 1500 with a stock radio!

Thanks in advance,
MikeyBob!

Never heard of anyone fixing there aux, but i would go get an estimate at your local shop and see what they say about it, if not you can get a single din aftermarket deck for probably just as much as it will cost you to get a new stock one.

Yeah, you would have to disassemble and either replace the jack or repair the solder joints. Either way, not worth it to me. Time for an after market deck.
