Default Subwoofer Question

I just got my amp (Fosgate P400-4). I need help from you audiophiles on what type of box to use. I'm going to use two 12" Pioneers but I can't decide if I should use a dual-enclosure like this one:

or if I should go with two single 12" enclosures like this:

If it matters any, I believe my girlfriend already bought two of these guys:
http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-TS-W30...p_ob_e_title_1

Any suggestions? Also, in case my girlfriend hasn't bought those yet, what would you recommend in the $30-50 price range?

On my 05 single cab my pioneers sounded better in 2 single enclosures rather than the probox dual.

First the foremost, which Pioneer model subs are you looking at? Although they will physically fit the box, will they match the box when it comes to internal cubic inches?

At the same time, if you are crafty, you could easily build your own box. But lets see some model numbers and specs before we start saying it will work.

Ya we need model numbers, but your going to stash them under the back seat correct?

Sorry for the late response. here is the technical details of all the stuff.

Depending on which box I go with, I am either going to take out the tray with the dual enclosure, or mount the single boxes to the tray itself.

Heres the amp that I already bought: Rockford Fosgate P400-4
Product Features
Four-channel amplifier delivers 50W x 4 @ 4-Ohms, 100W x 4 @ 2-Ohms, 200W x 2 @ 4-Ohms bridged RMS
Variable front and rear high- and low-pass crossovers (50-500Hz at 12dB/octave)
Punch Bass adjustable bass (0dB to +18dB @ 45Hz) and treble (0dB to +12dB @ 12kHz) level control
Perfect for 4-way front-stage/rear-fill or 3-way front-stage/subwoofer systems
MOSFET output stage and power supply

Heres the subwoofers that I'm thinking about getting:

Product Features
Pioneer TS-W303R 12" 4-Ohm Subwoofer

Woofer Cone Material: IMPP Composite & Paper
Surround: Urethane
Voice Coil: 6 Layer, Long Voice Coil

Sensitivity: 95dB
Ohm Rating: 4 ohm
Recommended Enclosure: 0.85 ~ 1.75 Cubic Feet

Heres the dual enclosure:

Per Sub - 1.2
Mounting Depth - 6 11/32"

I didnt see anything specifying otherwise so Im taking it these are single VCs. Looks like you are kinda meeting in the middle on the internal cu in/cu ft so thats good. That leaves room for poly-fill if you want to add some. Mounting depth is good.

I dont like the power ratings of that amp v/s the subs.

If you have 4ohm SVC subs rated at 250/1200 (single) or 500/2400 (pair)

So you can look at this Polk Audio PA880 Monoblock 800W 2Ch Car Amplifier

Continuous Watts per Channel (4 Ohms): 300 x 1
Continuous Watts per Channel (2 Ohms): 500 x 1
Max Power Watts per Channel (4 Ohms): 500 x 1
Max Power Watts per Channel (2 Ohms): 800 x 1

Or maybe this one - Rockford Fosgate Punch 500W Class AB Bridgeable 2-Ch Amplifier w/ Variable Crossover

1500W RMS peak output at 4 ohms, bridged
500W RMS (continuous), bridged
500W RMS at 2 ohms
250W RMS at 4 ohms

@calidodgeram, he isnt putting these under his back seat as he has a RC. This box is going behind his back seat.
