Default Where does this "doohickey" belong?

Hey y'all I need some help again!

Right now I've attached all the chords together, and I'm getting power, but my screen won't turn on. I know I have power because my radio (dual XMDA7650) will slide down when I hit the eject button. I hit the reset button upon initial installation. But I'm not too sure what the problem is...

I have this doohickey on the left open and not connecting to anything... Should it be? And where to?

That port at the bottom is where I attached the bigger doohickey, then just subs, stereo, and some steering wheel deal.

So is it just the radio? I've double checked and about to triple check the wires! If anybody can help I'd greatly appreciate it!

In the instructions does it tell you what the wires on the doo-hickey should go too? Might help a little.

Dual does NOT make quality or reputable hardware. You may have a bad screen if you know you have power and everything else works.

I'm going to rewire it one last time then get it replaced,

And Cali, the instructions say I only need the wires I have attached. Can't kill me to try one last time.

I would jump it straight to the battery and bypass everything else. Tie the red and yellow together and go to ground with the black and see what you get. it will either work or not

I hooked it up to the battery and it worked fine.. I got help from my friend who is a dj, and his thought is that doohickey is some power. I'm going to autozone to see if they've got any ideas what it's to and what to do.

Autozone probably will have no clue what so ever, don't you have a local shop you could go to, usually they will tell you what you have left to do or since you got it that far they probably would pop it in for free/cheap.

At autozone, they told me I either need to figure out hot bypass it or by a new and more expensive chord, which they don't carry there. I just got the new chord for 70 at a car electronics store.

Thank you Cali weeahoe for the help!
