Ya I am not too sure on this one. Manual states that it for when the deck receives a negative pulse when your cell goes off it will automaticaly mute the deck. Only problem is the truck harness does not have this.

I had an old Pioneer HU that you could use a toggle switch to trick the HU into thinking the e-brake has been applied. My newer HU does need that switch but another wire is grounded instead. So it all depends on the HU

Got it all hooked up and runs awesome. I went with the relay and works perfect. Didn't bother with the brown wire and cell calls come in perfect. Thanks for the help.

I will see what I can do for you...... Ran into one problem today. Looks like I have to hook up the VSS wire. GPS works great as long as all I want to see is my home address. Will not update as I drive. Only stays at home. Problem is I have no clue where to hook up this wire on my truck. (2006 3500 mega cab diesel) Any help on this one would be great.
Thanks guys

Its going to be at the ECM/PCM harness but I need to know if you have a HEMI or CTD so I can look it up for you and tell you where and which one it is
