Default Installing subwoofer.

How would I go about connecting my amp to my factory head unit? I am hearing alot of people saying that I have to remove the kick pannels and wire it to the front speakers?

The option I chose was to use an interface kit that goes between the head unit and the factory amp. It gives you full range pre-outs and remote on for your amp. I sure you could probably be successful with front door speaker taps as well through either a line-level converter or connect to high-level ins if your amp has them. The stock system sends only a mid-bass and lower signal to the front doors which is why you can't simply tap the speakers to put full range speakers in the doors. The kit I used can be found here: http://www.pac-audio.com/productDeta...&CategoryID=28

I've been using it for just over year with no complaints. I chose this route because I replaced all the speakers and need the full range signal source.

^^^ Yep, thats the two best options. The RCA interface or the line level inputs that convert to RCA.
