Default RER Radio Button Repair

Someone tried to steal the radio from my car the other night. In the process they simply broke one of the buttons off the front of the radio. Other than that nothing else was damaged. Does anyone know if I can have the radio sent in to have the button fixed instead of doing the insurance claim and having the entire radio replaced? I searched around the forums and couldn't find any information. Thanks for the info!

Welcome the the site.

IDK ANYONE who does OEM head unit repair. Thats partly because the dealer wants to much money for parts plus the dont usually sell just buttons for a radio. If you want a button you gotta buy the whole thing. The other downside is no one keeps an OEM head unit. They almost always replace them with something after market that works better, has more options and sounds better.

If you want the OEM the best bet for you may be to hunt one down on Ebay or a truck that is getting parted out
