CD Album Art MyGiG
Is anyone else having issue with this??? When I load a CD to my harddrive (MyGig) sometimes the album art shows up for a differnt CD and not the CD it belongs to...
Example : loaded CD Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon, when I loaded this it was showing no album art. A few days later and a few CD's later I loaded a Frank Zappa CD. Now the Pink Floyd album art is coming up when a Frank Zappa song plays.
It is completly random when this happens and for some CD's it shows the correct album art. Now all of a sudden it is showing Rush's 2112 albumn art for every CD I load. This was the first CD I loaded to the system.
Any help would be appreciated. I have contacted my dealer & Dodge directly and they are of no help.
System is RBZ in a 2011 RAM 1500 4x4 Outdoorsman
Also all music has been loaded directly from factory made CD's.
I love my new truck (Rudy the RAM) but this is very frustrating when you buy a new vehicle you expect everything to work as it should.........

Thanks.....How do I find out about update? I just bought the truck in February, I would have thought the dealer would have mentioned this when I asked them about the. Since noone I have talked to had heard of this happening I thought I would post here. I think I am going to have them put in a new unit and see how that goes.
dealers are useless and clueless. If you ever visit a dealer frequently you will see a vast majority of them go through salespersons and managers ALL the time. They have ZERO loyalty to any one manufacture so unless you get a nerd, you likely are speaking to one who previously sold Hondas and sold something else before that. So they are clueless.
Call the manufacture themselves and inquire.
Worst care scenario, pull it out, sell it and upgrade to something after market
Being this is a 2011 though, I would make the dealer call Chrysler and find something out and I would also call myself.

Thanks I did contact Chrysler only to have them push me off to the radio maker... Mygig. Since it is full warranty I will have them replace it at least once and see. Maybe mine has a bad chip??? Especially since else seems to have dame issue?
I am also having this issue on a 2011 Town & Country with RBZ radio.
to expand a little bit:
First 8 or 9 CDs -No issue with album art, everything displays correctly.
CDs 10-15 (give or take) - No album art at all (shows the music note)
CDs 16 and above - Shows album art for the CDs in range 10-15. Meaning, 16th CD put in shows the album art for CD #10. 17th CD shows the album art for CD 11.
Very strange and very annoying.
I found the following on a Dodge Challenger Forum:
"I have the solution for the problem I posted. First of all - anyone with the model 430 radio (including the ones with NAV) should check to see if they also have this issue - many will find they do.
The solution is an update DVD that most dealers have. The DVD is called "TravelLink Update" and even though the 430 radio doesn't use travellink, this same DVD has the fix for the gracenotes recognition error - so ask the dealer to install it. The update disc part number is 68141133AA. I got this information from the radio manufacturer support to May 23, 2011. I hope it helps those of you with this issue. I hope it helps me too."
Did you go to the dealer? Did they resolve the issue? If not, you may want to check for this DVD or mention it to them. I plan on doing so this week.
