Smile Question about factory Speakers.

I have been reading the differant pages on speakers in these Dodge rams.
I am slightly confused. I have replaced the stock unit with a flip up jensen unit.

My question is I keep reading that the stock system sent only mid and lower to the door speakers, so does that mean they will suck with the aftermarket stereo since it is sending them mids and highs now?

Door speakers equal front speakers on aftermarket radio right?

If I put my 6x9s in the doors with crossovers will that fix the sound problem? Also what size speakers are in the back on a reg cab and how do I get to them..???

The basic 4-speaker system has a normal set-up so replacing the door speakers will get both highs/lows.
It's the 7 speaker Infinity system that send highs to tweets and lows to doors.
NO, crossovers would not do anything at that point as the frequency is cut, gone at that point as it already went through the amplifier. but again, if you have the 4-speaker system, then you have nothing to worry about and you can use crossovers just like in any other vehicle.
