Default Floorboard LEDs

Hey y'all. So i ordered some led strips to light up the floor boards of my truck. I have been thinking about how I am going to wire them up and I was thinking about wiring them into the headlights so when the headlights turn on they will come on. If you have interior lights how do you have them wired up? Also does anyone know off hand if these lights are legal in Texas?

LEDs in the ride should be fine. LEDs outside depend on color. Blue and Red are a no-no. Wire them to a switch IMO as you may not want them on all the time.

LOL those look like the exact ones i bought a few months ago. They are very bright, i can see them during the day. Everyone so far has loved them. I wired them up to a switch but they stay on whenever its dark enough.

Did you use any resistors to tie into the dome lights?
