Notes:
NOTE: For the 2002 Ram 2500/3500, refer to the 2001 techsoft sheet. NOTE: Chrysler vehicles that use a gray ignition key have an immobilizer system that needs to be bypassed when remote starting. Use DEI part number 555C or 555U. *1 Lock requires a negative trigger thru a 820 ohm resistor. Unlock requires a negative trigger thru a 330 ohm resistor. MUST use relays. *2 Parking lights require a negative trigger thru a 330 or 1.4K ohm resistor. Headlights require a negative trigger thru a 1.8K ohm resistor. There is a rest resistance on the wire, so MUST use a relay to isolate away from the switch. *3 The LF door trigger is tan, and the LR door is tan/orange or purple/orange. These wires are in the driver kick panel. The RF door trigger is tan/red, and the RR door is tan/yellow. These wires are in the passenger kick panel. Use all wires and diode isolate each. See directfax document #1076 for wiring information. *4 This will also do door locks. Arm/lock is negative trigger thru a 2K ohm resistor. Disarm/unlock is negative trigger thru a 480 ohm resistor. Single pulse will do disarm without unlocking the doors. Unlock requires a double pulse. MUST use relays. *5 The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is on the passenger side firewall. *6 The amplifier is located behind the glove box. *7 These wires may not be necessary for remote start.

anyone have anything else to compare?

Also i am looking for the reverse light trigger, i know its in the driver kick panel but a color would help for sure. thanks

Ok i found another post saying it didnt change from 2002 to 2003 so I think that is correct for future reference.

I need power for my new power window kit, i was considering tapping the 2nd accessory or 2nd ignition. the kit has a 30amp fuse inline but i doubt they draw that much.

EDIT: i think the green had 12v at some point when i was probing though, so maybe not.

There is more than likely 3 ignition wires.(hot-run)(2x-hot-acc) All 10ga wires off the Ign are likely 12v supplies. Green could be your heater controls?

wedahoe has wiring diagrams downloadable via his sig and/or the faq section

thanks the green was the 3rd ignition (for heater blower) and I tapped that for my power windows and it seems to work well.

there are several red / whites, one thin one is 12v+ so i used that for my auto dimming mirror, and there is a black/white that is accessory that i tapped for the auto dimming mirror too.

atleast now i know what all the wires are and it should make it easier to install a remote start soon.

Also, any idea what this means for the tach wire? | TACHOMETER|NOT green/orange | |ign coil, coil pac, injector|

NOT green/orange?? confusing.

It's been over 10 years since I used to install these, how can I make sure I have the right wire for the tach wire, iirc its an AC wire.

Door locks were a PIMA

Tach were on the alarm module goes to one of the two wires on #8 spark plug coil. One wire is an ASD (Auto Shut Down) wire and the other is the 12v wire.

You want the 12v wire
