I upgraded my son's 93 Dynasty's sound system to an Infinity system. One of the speakers blew out and I do not know what I can replace it with. I don't want to change out the other 3, since there is nothing wrong with them(I want to put in the dash ones too, eventually). What aftermarket or Dodge OEM speaker can I use in its place? Also, the CD in the Infinity skips. I tried cleaning it, but it still does it. I got it out of a wrecked Dakota. I put back in the Infinity cassette deck for now. Is this an easy fix? I was able to locate an Infinity CD/cassette deck from another car, but I didn't buy it as of yet until I could see if the one I already have can be fixed.

What size is the speaker that you need to replace?

 

i think the most simple to do would be just buy a used oem replacement off ebay

 

I need an 5 1/4 inch for the door. I got these out of an early 90's Intrepid. Sounds great. I tried Ebay, but there are different widths of these speakers. I found a ton of them in my local yard, but they are too deep and will interfere with the window.The newer ones seem to be wider?(from front to back, not diameter) Now if I could only fix the CD player. Any ideas on how to fix the skip? Please email me direct as I don't check back often. Thanks.
